612Brew Announces Hidden Beach IPA Can Release
Northeast Minneapolis brewery to a summer-long India Pale Ale in cans
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – April 11, 2017 – After releasing 3 new seasonal beers in cans over the past year, 612Brew will offer its fourth and final seasonal beer this summer, Hidden Beach IPA, in cans.
Hidden Beach IPA is a hazy India Pale Ale, bursting with orange, citrus and tropical fruit aromas with a medium-to-high alcohol at 7.1% ABV. Fans of 612Brew’s Hidden Beach IPA may remember the limited draft-only version of the beer from 2016, however for the release in cans, Hidden Beach IPA has been tweaked slightly by introducing the brand new Cryo Hops TM from YCH Hops. This proprietary and innovative way of hop processing, by YCH, enhances the hop aroma in Hidden Beach IPA making this summer IPA much more aromatic and juicy.
Even in a crowded market full of IPAs, 612Brew had no doubts on the decision to can Hidden Beach IPA, “The limited draft-only beer was here and gone so quickly last year,” explains co-founder, Robert Kasak. “Customers immediately sought out bars and restaurants that had it on tap and called local liquor stores asking where they could find it. We knew for 2017, Hidden Beach IPA was destined for cans.”
A departure from other cans in the 612Brew line up, local artist Brian Giehl, of Dogfish Media, designed the art for Hidden Beach IPA. “Choosing to work with Brian was a great decision,” Kasak. “The 612Brew taproom is adorned with many prints by Dogfish Media, and we wanted to capture that distinct look and feel on the can of Hidden Beach IPA.” Look for the bright green and blue colors representing land and water along with the Hidden Beach IPA wooden sign post emblazoned in bright orange to pop on the shelfs of your local liquor store.
Hidden Beach IPA will be distributed in six-packs of 12 ounce cans and available in liquor stores across the Twin Cities metro area starting May 8, 2017.
