It's our Fourth Anniversary, and we are proud of that. It's a massive undertaking starting a business, especially a brewery in the times of a craft beer renaissance. It would have been pretty sick to do this one time, but we're coming up on lap four here folks. To celebrate being a Minneapolis Brewery (man I never get tired of saying that), we are having a sick ass party to celebrate. So mark off your calendars, start hydrating early, and get ready to drink what this country was founded on...beer.
If you happened to stumble across last week's blog post, you remembered that in conjunction with our four-year anniversary this Northeast Minneapolis brewery is celebrating with a special bottle release of two new beers at the taproom. A Belgian-Style Tripel & Quadruple.
A little brewery history:
MINNEAPOLIS – In 2013, 612Brew opened its doors to join the ranks of the Northeast Minneapolis Breweries with four beers and a couple of dozen growlers in the cooler. As you can see, there have been some massive changes to the Minneapolis Brewery scene, and more importantly to 612Brew.
In 2014, 612Brew increased production at its Northeast Minneapolis facility, and in 2015 the brewery once again increased production and introduced their three core brands in cans to the Metro Area. In 2016 the flagship rye IPA, "Unrated" got an upgrade into 16 ounce tallboy cans and debuted at US Bank Stadium along with a new lineup of seasonal beers released in 12-ounce cans.
Now in 2016, and in conjunction with their four-year anniversary, 612Brew is releasing two new beers in 750ml champagne bottles, a Belgian-Style Tripel in celebration of the three-year anniversary and a brand new Belgian-Style Quadrupel to mark this year’s fourth anniversary (4th Year, Quadruple release...get it?). We have been giving away these beers for the last two weeks on social media, which we are extremely excited about!
Direct Quote from Robert Kasak (612Brew Founder):
“We really liked the concept of doing a Belgian-style Tripel last year for our third anniversary,” said co-founder Robert Kasak “so doing a Quad this year seemed to only make sense. It was only then we made the decision to do the bottle release to mark the occasion.”
Direct Quote from everyone who heard about this party:
"This party is going to kick ass."
The brewery will host its fourth-anniversary weekend party at the taproom on February 10 and 11 to celebrate the launch. Here are some of the highlights of the party:
